Runner Duck's Why we love them and the crazy Please Share!

She is a Black Runner but after around 2-3 yrs they begin getting speckled with white. Blues and Chocolates do it also only the drakes don’t. My Blue is getting white also it’s just not as noticeable .can’t see her real good because the teenagers were behind her but she is really turning white too. They were 3 on April 28th

What wonderful photos, everybody! And, who doesn't love a great runner duck parade?!

Although it seems like everyone else's drakes are in charge, the flock leader here is Quinn, the only hen from my original group. She always runs with the drakes and is the only female not to have a bald spot or bleeding from the back of her head.

While all the other hens were in a pen with Paige (my leg-disabled duck), having a vacation from the boys' attention, Quinn happily led the three drakes all over the place, although she did take a wee break and hid in the amsonia plants to deposit her greenish egg.

Let's just say that my technological skills need some upgrading. For example, I've only owned a smartphone since early 2018. And, that's only because my beloved flip phone fell out of my pocket into a snowbank, never to be seen again.

When I finally get my phone and computer to appreciate and communicate properly with each other, I may just flood you with photos of all my adorable critters!!!
