Running water over eggs?

Day 16. Got a huge ant infestation in bater. In kitchen. Put eggs in colander, washed bater. Rinsed eggs off w 103 deg water. Started peeping like crazy. What the heck? Only hatched 1 other time. 30 eggs, 100%hatch rate. Put back in bater. No pips. Any idea????

Ants in the bator?! :eek: Who knew. :hmm

What day are you on now? Chicken eggs? :fl
 
Ants may be after the water in bator, put out a different dish of water for them.
I draw a line of liquid dish soap on counter to keep them away from stuff.

Peeping means internal pips, a bit early...maybe your bator was running a bit hot.
Time will tell.
