He still didn’t respond, just kept his head low.

“It’s getting better, but it isn’t going away as quickly as I’d prefer it to,” she answered in a low voice. “Does she seem more like herself to you?”

He sighed resolutely

"She's getting better." He responded confidently. "Almost back to normal."

Brackenkit curled up silently.

Aspenkit was in his mother’s nest, not really knowing what to do.

“Lilyflight, I want you to try sitting up,” Floodlight mewed. “Do you think you can do that?”

Sunstrike gave him a fond lick

Lilyflight nodded and used the shoulder Floodlight offered her and managed to sit up halfway.

"You can lay back down now,” Floodlight said after a bit. Lilyflight sank back into her nest.
