*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

“I’ll watch from here,” she decided at last. “Tell them to come see when they’ve finished with their new mentors.”

Brackenkit followed slowly while Aspenkit raced ahead.

Snowfrost sat at the entrance to the nursery while her much younger kits batted at each other.
He flicked his tail, telling he heard her.

He touched noses with his own kits fondly and ran his tail along Hazelkit's and Aspenkits back reassuringly. "Don't worry, none of you are in trouble. It's time we made you apprentices."

Aspenkit lit up.

Brackenkit looked happy too, but also nervous. “Is Lilyflight coming?” he asked in a whisper.

He brightened a little. “Okay! I’ll go tell Lionkit.” He raced off.

(Do we even have five free adult cats? Will their mentors just be NPC)
(Lionkit is standing right beside him XD and yeah, some of them will have to be NPC)
Lionkit flicked him on the ear. "I'm right here, mouse-brain." He mewed teasingly

Hazelkit began to wonder who her mentor would be and if she could trust them with her secret

(Oops lol)
“Whoops,” he said, feeling nervous.
"It's alright," he purred, "We're all nervous."

Bramblestar left the kits to discuss and went back to the den to ponder about who to assign them to. "I think Redfrond will be able to handle Aspenkit's high-energy..." He thought aloud to Lilyflight. "Maybe Rosethorn will be best with Brackenkit. He can handle the nervousness of him, and Brackenkits a fast learner so he'll be done with lessons earlier in the day so he'll be able to continue to spend time with his own kits..."
Skykit listened with wide eyes. "Lionkit and Brackenkit are leaving already?" He mewed sadly

“I know,” he answered, sitting down.

“Those sound good,” Lilyflight agreed, looking down at Skykit. “They have to,” she explained gently. “They’re too old for the nursery now. But you don’t have to worry. Snowfrost’s kits will be able to play soon, and I’m sure Lionkit and Brackenkit will tell you all about their training.”

Bramblestar purred, happy she approved of his choices. "Who do you think would be a good match for Hazelkit and Lionkit?"

Skykit huffed a protest, but said nothing more

“I think Graypelt would do well with Hazelkit, since he’s thoughtful, it would match her. And Firespot would probably be best Lionkit,” she added with a twitch, running her tail along Skykit’s back.
