Whiteshine noticed that Nighthowl was watching them and let her apprentice think for a moment and padded up to him. "Would you like to join us? I know you will have an apprentice of your own soon, so do you want to watch and gain some experience?"

Nighthowl was slightly taken aback, but he nodded, following Whiteshine back to her apprentice.

"Blackpaw, I am many, many moons from being an elder. That means that you would become a warrior after you turn 12 moons, is that really what you want?" Bramblefall shot back.


Sunpaw was glad that she could help the young warrior figure out how to work out some of her problems with Blackpaw and Bramblefall, so happily finished eating her sparrow.

Blackpaw rolled his eyes again. Couldn't this cat take a joke? he wondered.

Whiteshine looked at Sunpaw and asked "Hunting or battling?" Sunpaw thought for a moment then said "I do need to build up my battle skills." Whiteshine nodded to Nighthowl and leaded the way out of the camp.

Bramblefall looked at Blackpaw sternly and said "Okay, what do you want to hunt first? You listed a lot of different prey, so which do you want to go after first?"
