Whiteshine sighed. "Do I have to?" She joked

"Nice job!" Bluetail said. Sunstrike wasn't anywhere to be seen, she was climbing a tree, stalking a thrush

Bluetail dipped his head. Sunstrike fell out of the tree and landed right beside them. She hissed them bolted up it again.

Whiteshine told her everything that happened, up to the very last swipe of the claws.

She went to the bottom of the tree and waited, carefully watching Sunstrike's movements to make sure she wasn't injured.

"That's amazing!" Then Snowkit pouted. "I wish I'd been there."

"No you don't" Whiteshine warned, her fur bushing up slightly

Sunstrike swiftly bounded up through the branches. She was a branch away from the thrush now, and she pounced, but it had seen her, and she missed. She landed on the branch, right where it had been and hissed angrily.

"It was a good try," Lilyflight told the frustrated young warrior.

"You can't stop me from wishing," Snowkit retaliated.

Whiteshine just shook her head.

Sunstrike leapt out of the tree and landed gracefully. "Thanks."

Bluetail watched the young she-cat, realizing how beautiful she was. He blushed and looked at his paws, licking his chest a few times to hide his embarrassment before she noticed

Lilyflight's whiskers twitched but she looked away, attempting to hide her amusement.

Snowkit looked at her mother. "Don't ruffle your fur! I wasn't out there, nothing to worry about."

"What? Are you laughing at me?" Sunstrike mewed, pretending to be angry.

Bluetail shook his pelt and recovered himself before Sunstrike noticed.

"Hey! That's no way to talk to your mother!" Whiteshine scolded her, cuffing her across the ears a little rougher than normal
