“I will always be grateful for the way Feathersky saved my daughter’s life when she suffered her leg injury,” Lilyflight mewed, casting Owlherb a sympathetic glance. “She healed so many cats in her lifetime, and did more for this Clan than we could ever repay her for.”
Owlherb flashed Lilyflight a grateful glance, and remembered the time she fell out of the tree, causing her to become a medicine cat.
Brackenkit cleared his throat nervously. He hated talking in front of a lot of cats at a time, but Feathersky deserved at least this. “I- I wish I had known Feathersky better. I know she was brave and skilled, and served us well.”
Lionkit pressed up against his brother before adding "I was really grateful for the time when I ate too much and had a belly ache and she gave me something to make it stop hurting."
Lilyflight gave a small smile and licked his ears too.
Lionkit sat back down and curled up next to his brother.
Brackenkit pressed against his brother, still shaking slightly from addressing so many.
"You did good." Lionkit assured him, licking his ears
“I can’t believe I didn’t fall on my face or something...” he muttered.
Lionkit stifled a laugh. "What was it like, sleeping in Dad's den last night?" he whispered, changing the subject
