Sunstrike stood. "I'm not too worried about Hazelkit sneaking out." She brushed her accusation aside, as she knew Hazelkit's true identity and knew that her female kit could take care of herself. "As for Lionkit, you'll have to talk to Bramblestar or Lilyflight, as he is not my kit."
“I know.” She nodded respectfully. “I just didn’t know if I should bother them; Lilyflight is still injured, and Bramblestar is with her, and I know he doesn’t want anyone other than family going in there.”
Her tail swished. "It is not my duty to punish other cats kits." She mewed with forced politeness. "I know Lilyflight and Bramblestar think of me as their own daughter, but I'm not sure if they even want me going in there."
“Fine.” She left and stood in front of Bramblestar’s den, calling his name so she wouldn’t have to enter.
Bramblestar soon came out of the den. With the litchen curtain opening slightly when he came out, Flamefrost could have easily seen a small glimpse of Lilyflight if she tried. "Yes?" He mewed
Flamefrost did, in fact, see Lilyflight, but she did her best not to react. Great StarClan! “Lionkit snuck out of camp with Hazelkit,” she reported.
His eyes betrayed his confusion. "Do you know why?" He asked
“It looks like they went hunting.”
With a flick of his tail, he dismissed her and approached his kit. "Lionkit?" He mewed scoldingly. "Flamefrost told me that you snuck out and went hunting."
Flamefrost padded away, thinking about what she had seen. How did Lilyflight even get like that?
