*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

(Wait, is this a hunting patrol or a border patrol?)
(Border. Falconpaw was just out on his own, hunting when she ran into him.)

Falconpaw took a breath and forced his fur to go flat. His Clanmates were not his enemy he reminded himself. "I'm going to keep hunting now. Watch where you're going and try not to scare off my prey again." He mewed, though there was restrained annoyance in his voice. He turned away from her and began padding in the opposite direction of the patrol, his jaws parted to scent for prey

Dustyfoot sat tall and composed as she scanned camp for any idle apprentices. A chilly wind ruffled her fur and she shivered a bit, knowing that leafbare was fast approaching. Flicking an ear, she mused that many of the squirrels would be busy trying to collect the last of the acorns of the season from the old oak. That would be a good place to hunt, as long as you kept upwind of this breeze.

Hazelpaw was grooming herself in a sunny spot, soaking up the sparse warmth it was giving. She noticed Dustyfoot scanning the clearing and quickly finished cleaning herself before sitting up and looking alert, hoping she would choose her for whatever it was she was looking for another cat for.

"There's a whole patrol going through, your hunting would've been ruined anyway." Nightpaw snapped back. "Next time, maybe choose a better spot!"

His tail lashed in response, but other than that he ignored her. He soon disappeared into the undergrowth, the last glimpse of his black and gold pelt gone from sight.

Lionpaw gave her a sympathetic glance, then quickly faced forward again, remembering that she wouldn't respond kindly to sympathy.

Nightpaw huffed and continued on. This is taking forever. Where is the border?
Soon, Firespot smelled the stench of ShadowClan. "We're here." He mewed to the patrol and signaled with his tail for them to be quiet and more cautious. He set the first few markers, then signaled to Nightpaw to start setting them

(Ladybugchickenfarms is away doing some stuff for a while, so I'm just gonna have Firespot be the leader of the patrol. I'm not sure when she'll be back, but most likely it'll be soon.)

Dustyfoot saw Hazelpaw looking at her, and as she didn't seem to be doing anything at the moment Dustyfoot signaled her over with a flick of her tail.

Hazelpaw eagerly went over to her, her tail waving happily. "Do you need something?" She mewed, trying to seem nonchalant but was actually excited that the warrior chose her
"Yes. Leafbare is approaching and the squirrels should be collecting the last of their winter store. I believe you will find success hunting near the old oak."
