"W-" Nightpaw shut her mouth as Hazelpaw brushed past her. What's her problem? A dog got her tail?

"Uh, yes," Nightpaw said, standing up and flicking her tail to fluff it out a bit. "What do you want me to do?"

(Lol, it's fine. Hazelpaw was trying to be friendly and become her friend, and Nightpaw was pretty despondent to her efforts and eventually snapped at her)

"It's time for you to be a warrior. You've trained hard and earned it. Come join me on the Highrock." He purred, pride shining in his eyes. He turned and led the way out, jumping onto the rock and surveying the waking camp while he waited for her.

Rainbird nodded briskly and quickly helped her wake the rest of the cats and they soon filed out one by one, lingering around camp and waiting for the summons

"I- really?" Nightpaw asked, disbelief evident in her voice. She flicked her tail anxiously. Am I ready? It seems like I've been an apprentice for such a short time. She looked to her leader, and realized that she no longer had to look up to see the face of an adult. "I'm ready." She decided aloud.

"Great job!" Lionpaw mewed, his eyes shining in excitement. "You've earned it." He dipped his head to her and walked out to wait for the ceremony.

Bramblestar moved slightly to the right to give her room next to him when she joined him. "Let all cats gather beneath the Highrock for a Clan meeting!" He called out. He waited for the queens and the kits to join them and the warriors to settle down before continuing. "Nightpaw has trained hard and has earned her warrior name." He announced. "I, Bramblestar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend her as a warrior in her turn." He turned to look at Nightpaw, "Nightpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?" He gazed steadily at her, waiting for the response that all apprentices gave that thrust them into the life and duties of a full-fledged warrior.

Nightpaw raised her tail slightly. She thought of her life so far in the clan. They had found her, alone and doomed, at the edge of the territory. Now, here she stood, having practiced hunting, fighting, and patrolling for moons in order to complete her training. That training was over. She was going to be a warrior, with all the responsibilities that came with it. And she knew that she would do everything required of her with honor and strength. Nightpaw was ready. "Yes, I do."

He smiled, eyes shining. "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Nightpaw, from this moment on, you shall be known as Nightbird. The Clan honors your hard work and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan."

Bramblestar rested his head on the new warriors head as she licked his shoulder. He waved his tail, dismissing her, so that the other cats could give her their congratulations. Once they had finished, he called up Skykit. "We have one more ceremony to perform. Skykit is six moons old and is ready to become an apprentice."
Skykit's mouth opened in shock. He quickly closed it again though and stood up straighter, eyes bright and full of excitement.
Bramblestar smiled at his adopted kit before continuing.
"Skykit, from now on, you shall be known as Skypaw. Flamefrost, you are ready for a new apprentice. You will be Skypaw's mentor."
Skykit looked questioningly down at the other cats, not really knowing who Flamefrost was. He finally picked the one out that was being congratulated and raced down to her, touching noses. I will do my best to learn all I can from you. He thought, determination running through him as he locked eyes with her

Nightbird stepped down and let herself cheer for the new apprentice. She felt a warm, excited buzz in her body. I did it! I'm really a warrior!
