*Running with the Flood* A Warrior Cat RP~Open~

Frosty nodded vigorously. He couldn’t run, not yet- there might be more cats hiding in the trees for all he knew. That worked a lot better than I thought. He glanced uneasily behind him at the cat departing into the bushes. Frosty knew he wouldn’t scent anything. Sure, there had been cats chasing him at some point. But as for these particular ones, they were completely made up.
She slowly lifted her paw off his throat, keeping a careful eye on his body language and where his eyes darted to. She was pretty good at reading other cats. Once he had stood up, she asked "How many were there and where did they start chasing you from?"

“I’m from the city.” Frosty said, “Uh, my mom died when I was young. My brother traveled with me, but we got.. separated when a human stuck his dogs on us.” That part was true. He watched the ground near his paws. “Two, I think I was by.. the edge of your turf. They chased me right in.”

She nodded in understanding, her eyes softening a bit. Sure, she was intense, but she did have a heart. "I'm sorry about your brother." She said genuinely. At that moment, Bramblestar, Rainbird, and Owlherb arrived. Bramblestar did his best to look like he was in charge, but it was a bit difficult to keep his head and neck straight at the moment. Both of his sides were plastered in cobwebs, a few of them already red from his blood. "Hello, my name is Bramblestar. I'm leader of ThunderClan. Who are you?"
Sunstrike grimaced. In the heat of everything she had forgotten to ask his name

(Ah, sorry, forgot to reply :/)

“I’m Frosty,” He said, eyeing the clan leader suspiciously. “Thunderclan? Is that what you call your group?” He asked. The fact that this tom was referred to as the leader was weird. In the city, if the leader of a group got seriously injured or sick, they would be swiftly disposed of and a new cat would take their place.

"We are ThunderClan," He acknowledged with a dip of his head. "You caught us at a bad time. There were a few dogs that came through our camp a few minutes ago." He revealed, his tail twitching slightly. He was testing the younger tom on his reaction to hearing about how the Clan was weak.

Frosty stared at him for a moment. The way this cat so casually talked to him about his troubles was confusing. Everyone else he had ever met kept their worries and weaknesses to themselves. Why is he being so friendly? Frosty glanced around at the other cats in this ‘Thunderclan’.

Noticing that there was no gleam of victory or excitement in his eyes, he allowed himself to relax a little. This cat was no harm to them. "So, Frosty, do you live with Twolegs, I mean," he paused, trying to remember the kittypet word for Twolegs. "...housefolk? Or are you a loner?"

“I guess you would call me a loner.” Frosty replied. All the strange words they use...
