Ruptured air sac HELP!

My chicken has a ruptured air sac in her head what can I do? Should I pop it? And if so how do I do this? Any information is useful at this point. Don’t think she has much time as it’s getting bigger. HELP!

Here, this might help explain a bit on what to do. I'm a little worried with where on the body this happened. Do you know how she ruptured it?

Yikes - so sorry, I have no idea what to suggest. Hope that bumping this a bit will get someone's attention who knows what to do.

You can use a large needle or just open the skin with a small knife to make a hole to push the air out, then hold some gauze or tissue with antibiotic or vaseline ointment for several minutes. Of course disinfect the skin before attempting this. If the air sacis not expanding, it can be left alone, and the air will be absorbed by the body. Read post 5 here:
