Russian Orloffs

Finally finished my home made incubator. Lost all my Orloff eggs due to temp spike on day 19 & 21 so now to try the bator out with some Mille D Uccle & a few turkey eggs. If all goes good after two tries more Orloff eggs. Here's a few pics of Eli at 2 weeks

My orloff pullet has most of her feathers poked through now. Im a little worried....I dont claim to know the RO color well but her spotting screams mixed breed. Ill post pics in a day when her feathers span.

Hi, im new to orloffs and I am collecting my first trio tomorrow, but I just thought id ask opinions on the behaviour of orloff roos? I keep brahmas, so im used to my guys being very docile and good natured both with my hens and my children. Im hoping orloff roos are similar. Any opinions appreciated :)

Daniel, It would be interesting to see if the white/yellow ones turn out to be male. I have noticed that Orloffs hatches here result in a lot of variety that is largely a result of the bases e+ and eWh and them being crossed together. I have seen in a few of my Asil that the eWh downed chicks tend to turn out to be male. I can't really nail that down in the spangled Orloffs because of the pattern genes, but I'd like to know how it turns out for the Mahogany.
