Russian Orloffs

I really like the length of back and station on this one...
Ditto.

I am officially down to the five healthiest, ie alive, chicks that I received. Its been quite a struggle getting them this way, I assure you. Now to maintain them through what looks to be a long hard winter here.

Nice to see you in Ivy.

None of my birds are paired up yet for breeding or I'd be happy to hatch you some chicks. I am still culling down the birds I raised up earlier this year. I've got some Orloff pullets for sale, but I already butchered all my extra cockerels. Gotta work on thinning out the Rhode Island Reds next.

The birds I have are confusing me right now. The one that seemed recovered from its comb issue now has an eye that is weeping and getting stuck shut. Its clear that these birds were exposed to something before coming to me but now IDK what's here and while they are isolated and always have been since arriving here its a pain. Not only am I not sure what it is I may end up culling again and asking for eggs all over again.

Just wanted to say these are magnificent looking birds! We are not able to keep them at this point due to new city laws, but when we get more property further out DH really wants some of these, and I'm all in! Will just keep tabs in here and live vicariously for a couple of years till we get our bigger place!

I am interested in an orloff roo.... Preferably spangled. I am in Lakeland Florida. Does anyone know any local breeders? Here is my hen =] She was given to me a month or so ago... she is the sweetest chicken. =]
