Russian Orloffs

Pics
Oh Renee- I love the mahogany!

Savingdogs- that's so great! Can't beat a good broody

So- I tried to get some better head shots of my older orloffs. It was their first day free ranging- so they wouldn't stand still for a second! They are really easy to pick up though- go figure.

Sorry about the shade!

The 2 smaller ones here- the biggest light one has a more raised, but flat comb.

I'm placing my bet that the darkest one is a pullet, and the largest light one is a roo. HappyMtn.

I'm still studying the smaller light one.

I sure wish that one had been standing in that last pic...that would help a lot.

I'm starting to think the smaller light one is a girl. When we throw treats out it will grab them right in front of the big roos. Usually my juvie roos shy away. I hope so anyway!

These guys are so personable. They are always following us, or running up when we come outside.Really easy to catch, pick up, and get in the coop at night too- unlike some of their bunkmates!
