Russian Orloffs

I have one Erhard bird, Stormy. It was 29 eggs for this one chick. They were all Mahogany eggs except for TWO spangled, and so what do I get??

But she's a sweetie and I'm hoping we get her to throw some Mahogany.

I might have to order a couple hundred dollars of eggs from Erhard. Maybe like 2 dozen spagled, and 2 dozen Welsummer, and a dozen mahogany? Not sure yet. His eggs are a little spendy, but if the quality is good, I dont mind paying.

Nate

Or you could get hatching eggs from me for 1/2 the price next spring.

LOL

LOL - yeah - are you going to be breeding some pure erhard birds?

Why are people so opposed to shipping chicks? Lack of incubator space? I would gladly pay more for the extra time and effort, get boxes shipped directly to you, pay for the express delivery, etc. Packaging chicks is easier than packaging eggs!

I will order 25 chicks, I don't care! Or as many Orloffs as you can do, plus whatever fillers you need to put in there to make 25 so they stay warm. Wolfwoman and I could split them. We're neighbors.

I wish I could but our post office does not ship lives. I can receive them but we're so rural that everything is routed out of Spokane or Wenatchee--so it adds an extra day to a trip so the post office will not ship lives. Well, they will but they will not guarantee them. So for me to ship, I'd either have a 3 hour round trip or a 6 hour round trip to drop them off. So shipping would probably be $100.00 (my time & gas and actual shipping costs).
