Russian Orloffs

I don't post on the forum here often as I dont have my Orloffs yet, and am just wanting to get started back into breeding. It is very helpful to have a source to go to to get breed info.

I actually kinda like Russian Orloff Preservation Society. Sounds more like we are trying to actually keep the breed pure, breed towards a standard, etc. Also, sounds more serious that way....just my 2 cents. I'll try to think of some other ideas.

Refresh the forum page every once in a while as I'm adding new categories and will be working on setting it up a bit better. I'm about to ask for ideas for the categories as I'm not as experienced as some of you in regards to orloffs. Like one being Standard, where we can discuss standard we wish to achieve, forming a club, things of that nature.

Hmmmm....or maybe "The American Russian Orloff Association"? or "The Russian Orloff Association of America"?

I think the first one might have to many countries in the front!! LOL

Currently there are six (Announcements, Rules of the Roost, Introductions, Orloff Homestead, Breeding Info, Orloffville Marketplace). I've asked my wife to make a banner for the forums so we can get it more Orloff friendly

The only things I can think of are maybe a suggestion thread so we can post suggestions on that forum and also a Standard section and a Bantam Section-idk. Or maybe a refernce area 'Stickies" with the Standard of Perfections (im not sure if those can be posted on public formums or not)? I know the standard size no longer has one so maybe one from the last Standard of Perfection but I think the ABA recogonises (sp) three variets. It might be helpful to those who are wanting to breed them or just starting out to have an easy access place to look at them. Just an idea.

I do like the less is more idea though....
