Wish someone near here needed roosters.

Does anyone have pictures of their Orloff chicks. I ordered some from Strombergs expecting at least a little bit of quality. I know, I know. Anyway, their legs are a dark, drab color. Will it clear with time, or stay that color?

Kinda jumping in late into this forum , but I want to add this breed to my list of wanted birds and am looking at supliers of eggs as we speak ..............but there is a lot of talk of eggs being clear ?? do they not have a good fertility rate ? Would make a huge impact if I ordered in eggs and they were clear , kinda depletes the whole purpose not ? Like I said, new to this Orloff breed and need as much accurate info as possiable , but they sure do look interesting , beautiful .

Wish we lived closer together, I'd be happy to give you one of mine. I've got the reverse of your problem, my breeder quality roos don't have enough white to suit me. Great shape though, so I'm working on getting the shape and size for now and will just have to hope I can improve the color in the next few generations.

None current or since I got our original birds culled down to just the breeders I've kept, but I do need to take some new pictures and post them. Our's are turning out very nice and fertility has been awesome. (Was worried about that because of the experiance I've had with a couple of shipped strains.) I've got to weigh them when I do my spring cleaning in the coop this week, I'll try and take new pictures then. I've seen pictures of your birds and they are very nice.
