?s about Eprinex for lice/mites

Hey Everyone!

About eprinex treating lice/mite, I think you give the standard chickens 1/2 ml and bantams 1/4 ml. Is that right? And where do you put it on the bird? I read back of neck, but would putting the Eprinex on the back of their neck treat the mites on their fluffy butts? Also, is there an egg withdrawl? With goats there is no milk/meat withdrawl, but just wanted to make sure it's the same with chickens. And does Eprinex treat leg mites?

First of all, you need to get the eprinex for cattle. That is supposed to be the one you use on chickens. I just toke a few drops and put on the back of the neck and it will absorb through the skin and treat internal and external parasites. I think 1/4 cc seems like too much.

That might be 1/4 cc mixed with a gallon of drinking water? I dont know exactly what the dose is. Its just a really really small amt. It works really really well. Make sure you wash your hands good and dont get any in your mouth. Probably a withdrawal period too.
