Sad Day - Lost 14 Muscovy babies to a rainstorm

They were killed by another Duck....Sorry but you introduced them too soon and that happens..

I seriously doubt that the other ducks killed them. If they ducklings had been attacked there would wounds, brokens bones, or missing feathers/fluff.

No, when Ducks kill Ducklings they shake them violently like a frog kill...Saw it at my friends when I rescued the Ducklings I have...No down falls off... horrid..The Ducklings die instantly or twitch...descriptive enough?
I ran and help net what was not being killed...Please...I do know Ducks..

Three week old Muscovy ducklings are quite large and it would be impossible for another duck to go one by one and shake each one to death without leaving evidence.

@9Tiptoes :hugs i am so sorry you lost them, a very tragic accident indeed :hugs

i dont see how you could so quickly jump to that conclusion, from the sounds of it they were broody raised and therefore near all the ducks the entire time, so there was no introduction time at all. The way you stated this was just a bit harsh.
