Sad discovery... UPDATE

I'll be sending DS#4 (son of Mahonri... on here) out to get pics of her this afternoon. As well as the take of eggs today so you can see it.

She doesn't look much different than she did 12 days ago, but she is not as flighty as she was and she comes when I bring food now.

You did such a good thing.
About 2 months ago now their was an ad on our local CL: trio of BCM, trio of SF, and a trio of Seremas. Sent DH to get them, it was near dark.
He brings them home all 9 chickens they are in a rabbit cage from TSC. That is what they had been living in. I have doctored them had everbody still in seperate quaritines. The BCM one hen didn't make it through the night. The other 2 are getting fat and sassy but I will never sell eggs from her. The SF one of those hens also passed. I think worm overload killed them both. That once I medicated them it was too much on them.
The strangest thing is these are the friendliest chickens ever. Will climb right up in your hand or lap. So the man loved them I guess, but didn't have the slightest clue on how to tend to chickens.
