Well an update on the chickey. Still eating, still running around and doing well.. I still have her in the bator, but putting food and water in it. I will post some more pics tonight.

I would have done exactly what you did, so hooray for your efforts! They mend quickly and I bet she'll do fine.

some other bycer had one hatch with it's insides outside. I remember they pushed them back in I think they said they used tape to keep it closed up. I could be wrong but, the chick ended up being fine. The little spitfire's will win you over every time. Good luck to both of you.

Well They are ready to go to sleep.. I applied some more topical antibiotic and tried to grab a couple of shots... The top one is her by her self.. The second is her on the left with her fluff all slatherd up with antibiotic.. I took several pics, but she was running all around the bator.. if she looks good tomorrow afternoon, I'm gonna move her and her little friend out of NICU.

I had this happen with a duck a rouen in fact and I was over ruled and unable to cull so I simply put a bandaid on it and let nature take course. The duck healed and is almost 2 years old... Good luck
