I'm now down to three chickens. Over forty have disappeared randomly in the matter of three weeks. I don't hear anything, no feathers, no remains...nothing. They're all locked up snug and tight at night, too.

so sad..and weird. I have lost some lately too..my flock is shrinking.

I am sorry about your losses.

I'm thinking so, but we have an outside dog that bark if he hears himself breathe too loud. He's locked up, so he can't get to them.

Isd there anyway you can set up a night vision camera? Borrow one? That is the most bizarre story, and unless they are slipping your dog a nice juicy bone to keep him happy like they are doing this, what else could it be?

I'm thinking about putting up one of our deer camera's out there somewhere, or one of those outdoor alert system things.

Thats a lot of birds in a short space of time... hope you now have your camera up and running............

Pull an all nighter and watch.

Or pour flours around the coop and see if it is humans or predator foot prints in the morning.
