Saddle Feathers? *pics*

alright, here are the barred rock, and the lavender araucana:

lavender aruacana (comb and face are reddening)

( best shot I could get of comb)

barred rock: (darker in real life, than in pics, although is looking kind of rooish to me

)

(she's getting some pink on her comb, and some red on her face)

( you can see the red on her face here )

thanks everyone!

I was just wondering about my blue wheaten ameraucana who does have very pointed feathers:

and just for kicks, my other lavender aruacana who we were wondering about gender for (pretty sure she's a girl though)

thanks!

Your Lavender Araucana and barred rock are both pullets 100%, could we have a face shot of the Wheaten?

tailed lavender or rumpless lavender (most people told me my tailed araucana is a roo)

and here is the wheaten

(comb pic, but have none of her looking at me)

Sorry but that is definitely a cockerel.

See those darker yellow pointy feathers coming down his neck? Those are hackle feathers, only the men have them

It would seem that your "Wheaten Ameraucana" is actually an Easter Egger as Wheaten Ameraucanas are a completely different color as 'allmychickens" said above.

thank you, but we are almost positive it is a true ameraucana, we got it from a very trusted breeder, she is starting to lighten up we think.
