alright, here are the barred rock, and the lavender araucana:

lavender aruacana (comb and face are reddening)

barred rock: (darker in real life, than in pics, although is looking kind of rooish to me

I was just wondering about my blue wheaten ameraucana who does have very pointed feathers:

the tailed araucana looks as though the saddle feathers are growing in now.

All pullets, it would be really obvious if they had saddle feathers. This is one of my Bantam Barnevelders cockerels, notice the very thin, pointy, shiny feathers right before his tail? Those are saddle feathers

Sorry but that is definitely a cockerel.

See those darker yellow pointy feathers coming down his neck? Those are hackle feathers, only the men have them

It would seem that your "Wheaten Ameraucana" is actually an Easter Egger as Wheaten Ameraucanas are a completely different color as 'allmychickens" said above.

thank you, but we are almost positive it is a true ameraucana, we got it from a very trusted breeder, she is starting to lighten up we think.
