Saddle Feathers? *pics*

All pullets, it would be really obvious if they had saddle feathers. This is one of my Bantam Barnevelders cockerels, notice the very thin, pointy, shiny feathers right before his tail? Those are saddle feathers

Your Ameraucana's are definitely pullets. Your Barred Rock is also. The easiest way to tell the difference between Barred Rocks is a rooster has lighter bars than a hen. So a BR rooster appears to be lighter in color than the hens. Here is a picture to show you the difference.

thank you so much! we are thinking that the tailed lav. araucana is a roo, because of the saddle feathers, but we aren't sure, will post pics in a sec (not all trying to focus on the saddle feathers, so they aren't the best pics)
