Safe Food Storage Container

Hey friends,

Just curious whether it is okay to store feed in a stainless steel can. We were thinking this would be more pleasing to look at then several plastic bags lying around the house.

I use metal garbage cans, large enough to hold the feed in it's original bags from the store. In case of a problem, it can go back 'as is' rather than 'who knows'.

I use metal trash cans the big ones

I actually use a plastic trash can and keep it outside right next to the door of the run. Makes it easy to fill the feeders. I realize that rodents could potentially chew through the plastic to get to the feed. So far after 3 years none of done so.

I use bags inside metal can......just easier to 'get it all'.
