Ive read some conflicting info so Id figure I would ask. I live in south GA so the temps in the afternoon are mid to high 80s, and at night low 60s. These 3 chicks hatched last thursday and friday on the 20th and 21st of April. I have a large metal dog pen I can cover the top on and I have fencing I can give them space to go into the sun. When would I be relatively safe to do this?
I could put a heat lamp out there, especially at night. They are silkies and from my Chickens in the last photo!
