He leaned back against the tree and looked up with her, "I could never trust a human, and I never thought a Sage would ever become friends with one." He kept blinking at the abnormal thought. He reduced his head and angled his vision on her again, "Tell me, what is it like to have a human friend, I never thought someone would have the guts to do it."
