Sally's GF3 thread

When we redid the bathroom in our house in GR (30 years ago! man, time flies!), hubby put up a nice piece of wood, poly'd it, screwed it in place at the head of the tub. Since I had no idea what he was doing, he explained, if anyone ever needs to access the plumbing, 8 screws and there it is.

That showed me I'd married a winner! :)

I attended the funeral of one of hubby's former coworker. I knew of this man, more than I knew him.

It was a very nice service, with some nice remembrances of Terry by his family and pastor.

Sadly, I have another funeral to go to on Friday, for the wife of another coworker. The four of us used to meet for brunch, but not recently, I'm sorry to say.

Some interesting clouds after yesterday's storm.

Same trees on March 23rd, just for a laugh.

Uh... no... didn't test. Actually, I'd totally forgotten about it. I bet hubby has too.

I wonder if the pharmacy at the store has the tests.

I'm sure they do. Good to have on hand if needed.
If you haven't had symptoms for a few days, chances are,, you didn't get infected. And are not likely to be infectious even if asymptomatic.
I'm not a doctor,,, and I don't play one on TV. :old :gig
Do you remember that line from long ago.

Sally, that is the accepted understanding of Covid these days. No more 14 days quarantine. I think its 3 days,,, and back to work.

Yes, I do!

Another blast from the past was the tag line, "It's ok, I had Subway for lunch!"

https://www.nytimes.com/2003/09/22/...campaign-assures-customers-they-can-have.html

"The new commercials use lines like ''Subway, good so you don't always have to be'' and ''It's O.K., I had Subway'' to supplement the chain's longtime theme, ''Eat fresh.''

The campaign includes scenes of Subway customers indulging themselves with mischievous behavior both food-related -- eating ice cream from the carton or snacks from a vending machine -- and otherwise. Each time, the rationale is that Subway meals can make you, as an announcer says, ''feel good about being good and O.K. about being bad.''
