We bought the Falcon plow from a friend. It has several "extra parts" out in the pole barn. Among them, I think there's another differential and another set of tires on rims.

Got good gripping tires on it?

I was thinking chains on the drive tires.
...and maybe some sand bags in the trunk.

We have not needed chains, yet, when hubby plows. Due to the horrible condition of our driveway (crumbling blacktop), I don't think hubby will put chains on it. When we get the driveway redone, maybe it would be a good idea.

Got good gripping tires on it? Was it B. F. Goodrich tires that advertise they grip the road? Maybe it was Goodyear.

I remember studded snow tires. I mentioned them to a younger coworker, and he laughed at me. "They'd tear up the highways and roads!" Yup. That's why they're not made any more.

He thought I was making it up, but another coworker my age confirmed that they had, in fact, existed.

It does have a 60-80 pound heavy duty tractor battery in the trunk.

I bet the blade up front helps a lot.

Now that I look at that picture again, I realize how many more leaves there are to come down off those trees!
