Salmon Faverolle Baby Rooster or Hen...

Probably too early to tell but I curious to hear your thoughts... Boy or Girl I read that with Salmon Faverolles you can usually tell fairly early by their feathers!

Hard to say. I'm going to guess female though since the feathers don't all look to be the same length.

Does it have shoulder feathers yet? When those come in is when you can really tell. The males get black shoulder feathers. The females get much lighter, brown shoulder feathers. Those wings are looking pretty dark though, and I would lean toward male with that black in there.

Update: Heres an updated picture with shoulder feathers. They are a reddish- Brown color. Still thinking rooster?

The shoulder feathers are brown but not a light brown, and the feathers are light at the tips but dark by the roots...
