Oh gosh Marie, I hate to say it but my two that hatched around the same time already have distinct dark feathers. OH NO! Well I think I have two boys and of course the older one I mentioned. I will try to get photos of the babies and let you compare.

Well, Jaynie. I guess I will be needing to get a roo after all. This little one is definitely a girl. Dang it. I am glad she is here but was so hoping for a boy. I will get with you on how we can get me a boy. I am not sure what to do at this point. Darn it. I have had the worst time with the faverolles. Maybe it was just not meant to be, huh?

It will be all the sweeter when your finally get what you want. Give them a few more days. I think mine are a few days older. There is one I am still not sure about, I looked again today and even tho, I can see the dark wing feathers they are not as dark as the other.

Oh, it is definitely a girl. Spotted wing feathers. No black. Just did not want to admit it too soon I guess. Will have to try more eggs when I get another broody I guess. Or maybe have a roo shipped, I will let you know.
