I had 2 Salmon Faverolles and I have to laugh when I read that they are "quiet". They are my loudest birds by far. Chatty, noisy, complainy. But also funny. Beards get all wet and messy when drinking.

I got chicks from a local breeder and one is dark and one is light! I am so excited to see what they look like when they are fully feathered!

It is likely the dark one is a cock and the light one is a hen

I haven’t had one but I have met one and he was very friendly though quite big so he could be quite intimidating to a young child

My roo was never aggressive. He ran from trouble. Lol I have a baby roo now. I'm hoping he has the same "flight" instinct that his father did.
