Wow! Color variations like this are not at all what I was expecting with Salmon... thanks, I'd not seen these pictures! Yes - the hatchery stock isn't so hot... I won't buy through hatchery again.I'm sure it's a pullet. Here are some others that have been posted here

Time will tell! I had also seen that the black feathering was roo related... I have never had Salmon Faverolles and was expecting a much lighter colored feathering.Oh man! My research was all wrong.I hope these guys are right!!![]()
Thanks so much! Am ok if one of the four is a roo, but heavens...not all four!I'd say pullet! I'd never go by coloring unless it's a sex linked... She's going to be a pretty bird, too!
Still saying pullet. My girls had quite a bit of black on them, but most of the black feathers have fallen out as they near 4 months and been replaced by pretty Salmon and white ones. Even if she keeps her black breast, I think you'll have a really pretty little hen there.
