Salmonella at hatchery

Not all salmonella causes disease or illness. We all have a resident strain that with out it our digestive system won't work. People are becoming germaphobic and in the process are killing off the good bacteria. Its like throwing the baby out with the bath water lol. But like they drilled it into me in nursing school. WASH YOUR HANDS. WASH YOUR HANDS. WASH YOUR HANDS. Enough said.

and so true. Just make sure you wash your hands very frequently, as you should anyway when dealing with chickens, or just to prevent colds, flu, etc.
