I have a chicken who appears to have salpingitis. To make a long story short, I spoke with my vet and gave me baytril for her. While she was on baytril for a week she had no issue whatsoever was running around as if completely healthy! I stopped the baytril after 8 days and two days later she had her first instance return. Then two days later which is today she’s down for the count with the issue. My questions is, is there a reason while on baytril she didn’t produce anything and was so healthy? She can’t realistically live on antibiotics the rest of her life correct? Is there anything else I can do? Thank you so much for your time!
