I bought some non-fertile quail eggs for Easter one year. They were absolutely beautiful! They took the dye VERY well, the colors were awesome, and the spots showed up spectacularly! They were the prettiest Easter eggs I've ever seen. I took a picture of them and still have it to this day. (and we're talking about a picture of Easter eggs that was taken in 1976...) of course, I was but a small child
