San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

Just you so far. I only want a couple myself so unless there's more interest, I won't order. There's a six chicks minimum. The BOGO offer is the best I've seen - a pair of pullets would be $30 plus shipping. If we have three people and each wants a pair, it would be $42 per person. I already have a couple legbar hens, but I thought it would be a fun and new experience ordering chicks directly from Greenfire Farms. Roos are buy one get two free for those that want roos. Shipping is $35 for up to 20 chicks so the share of shipping cost will be less if we have more people wanting to order.
Sounds good! Let me know if there are any others! :) I'll try to find some people too!

Please pm me when you do! I am definitely interested!
I will pm her right now! Thansk!!

I would love to order some chicks through greenfire with you. I do have 5 lavender orpington babies left... Looks like 2 males and 3 females but its hust a good guess as they are 4 weeks old. Off heat lamp. $10 each.

Forgot to also say that will PM you if we all end up ordering from Greenfire! After I meet with you, I'm also heading to Alpine to pick up two more Cream Legbars, an Isbar, and a Lavender French Maran! I'm so excited for Sunday!!

Hey San Diegans! I have an Ayam Cemani chick for sale, and a 9 week old Easter Egger pair free for rehoming. Unfortunately one of my Easter Eggers I hatched turned out to be a roo, so I can't keep him. The other one is a pullet, but they are best friends, so I want to keep them together. I am open to giving them to anyone who can keep them as pets and not meat birds, so if you have room let me know. They are great birds, and love to sit on a lap, or perch on a shoulder. The Ayam Cemani chick I'm currently selling for $100, it's unsexed, really cute, and really lively. It's parents are Greenfire Farms stock, and I don't see any white, so she is a great example of the breed, although she is pretty tiny, born on the 14th of this month. I had a group in my incubator and only one hatched, so decided to sell her. If anyone is interested PM me, thanks!
Some great close up pictures In full light, and details about who you got the AC eggs from, and the color of the toungue may help you sell such an expensive chick :)
