Hi Al, Yeah, I am sure. I am going to the Headquarters to get it. Off of Main I think. I wish I did not have to drive that far but it is so needed at this point.

Be SAFE.

Al, How did the meeting go? Good I hope. My drive to SD was dreary at first and then it was quite sunny and nice. No traffic to speak of and it went by pretty fast. Got my stuff done and got everything working. So I am happy. After I got back yesterday, I took the car into the shop to have some work done so I am carless today.

Nancy,

The traffic was surprisingly light yesterday, I guess everyone stayed home, that was good.

I guess we will see a lot of quails next month!

Al,
I am about to order so they can be here the beginning of next year. Were you interested in any of the quails? No biggie. I was just making sure before put the order in for the eggs. I am splitting w/ Cari but I can always fit more in my incubator since lord only knows how many I really have.

Yeah, the traffic was great. I did it from here to Chula Vista in less than 2 hours and I took a potty break and walked around because my foot was hurting.

Nancy,

The most that I want is 2 to see how they are first, I don't want to kill off too many of them from inexperience. How much do you get them for?

Two hour is very good time in the rain.

Hi Al, Believe me, you cannot kill them off from "inexperience". Really easy to raise in my humble opinion. I am buying the eggs from a lady on this board and $27.00 for 50 including the shipping. Cari and I are splitting it. Don't know what kind of hatch rate I will get but I will be hoping and praying. You were so generous with your orchids and everyone for that matter and I had nothing to offer. I will bring what I have and don't worry about it. It is all good.

Yeah, I do drive a hybrid and I was in the carpool lane whenever possible so it probably helped a bit.

What kind of quails will you be getting? I guess quails could stand the cold better than chickens since I see them on wire cages outside in the weather.

Al, Jumbo Brown Cortunix. Mine will be living outside and I think they will be fine. I am hoping for some eggs and I plan on eating the rest.

Count me in for Jan 22nd - looking forward to seeing you all again and meeting the new folk. Also, a quick question - my 7 girls are approx 25 weeks now and still no eggs - am I out of luck now until the spring?
