San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

I want to be at the next meet up. Missed so many with the darn move and other problems.

February seems so far away. OMG. You guys can last until then for a feed order? Yikes! I guess I have way too many critters now. I will have to look at other options then because it is doubtful I can even last the month.

I have had a very rude awakening this am. I decided that I am no longer doing anymore hatching. I seem to hatch nothing but ROOS. Even my broodies are hatching nothing but roos. 50/50 sounds good at this point. That is how bad it is. Ugh..........

Amy, we will have to get together sometime soon! I'd love to come see your flock. I had no idea anybody other than Renee was close in town.

It is SO windy today... I was just out rescrewing fence boards that blew down in the chicken run. (It is redundantly fenced, but these boards also hold up my "chicken big top" netting that keeps the hawks out. ENOUGH WIND! We're gonna blow away.

February would be fun for a meet up! I usually work Sundays, so a Saturday would be fabulous if possible. The only weekend we have something planned already is on the 11th, there is a big poultry show in Phoenix AZ that we're going to, but the other weekends are open.
