Gorgeous KKH! So makes me want more fuzzies!

Does anyone know if I can find chicken water nipples locally? And by locally I mean anywhere in San Diego County? I am only finding them online and the shipping is more than the nipples.

I never, ever thought I would be asking for advice about chicken nipples. Oy.

Phage, that CL post is a hoot. If I had seen it I would have probably got the couch...it's cool! Would
have been cute in my sewing room . Let me know if you want any of the chicks I'm hatching out. I won't be keeping all of them, mostly the crested ones.
Thought that little one was going to be mille fleur...I'm thinking of the hens I have, guess I should be considering the roos
too.

Nikkipar , love my broodies...well, except that I didn't really WANT to set more eggs....but what are you going to do? Right?


MissusC, Isn't it amazing what one finds themselves discussing about their chickens? The funny thing is is that it becomes so normal that you begin to not filter
yourself amongst your friends OUTSIDE your chicken world. THAT'S when you get some real strange looks and people taking a step or two back from you.
(Let us know where you find nipples if you find them. At one time someone on this thread was the chicken nipple expert, but I don't think they have chickens any more.
Anyone remember who that was?)

I have seen Chicken Nipples some where recently...... I have to go to a couple of feedstores today so I will poke around a little.

I have a special needs chick that needs a good home, was hatched with a twisted neck, it actually had its head upside down at first. but with some vitamins and tlc it has almost straightened out only tilts head a bit to the side, I made the mistake of naming it Ditsy so I CANT cull it now. Is about a week old I can give another chick free as a companion if you dont have any to put it with. I just have too many birds and cant sell it like this so I thought I would ask if any one could love it lol Ditsy is other wise healthy eats drinks and runs around fine.
