will do allison, ill call this afternoon and see what they have available and if there is any restrictions for the birds.oh i could bring and incubator full of eggs too to show people,oh geting the thinking juces flowing.
Renee, I know a couple of people are interested so you could call and see what the $25 fee covers. I do have enough to pay the fee twice so you can see what that gets you too. You can let them know were a large diverse group and see how many tables they'll allow us to set up. The magnets sound great! A banner would be great, you gals are very artistic. I think one loooooooong table would be good. It's indoors so no pop up needed. If someone brings birds then I think they need to stay as long as their birds are there. Otherwise, taking turns manning the tables would be nice. I could come down for a spell, not the entire day though. Jules is interested and Dana is if she can find a sitter. Go ahead and call and see what say. You can totally be in charge of this Renee. I'm just helping Cara get the word out. I think it would be nice to promote our little group too.

called the grange and talked to a very nice lady named sandy.
only non profit are inside and the serama club is also inside the rest are outside.
I reserved one spot 10x10 under the tree out back.I was told it would hold 3 -6' tables if you think we should get a second spot they have one open next to it.

IM thinking chicks take up a lot of space and they could be where one of the tables would be
share the other two tables is fine with me.I will only have my soap and i dont have a ton of that either.

i have one 6' table and chicken table cloth that i can share with someone.
my daughter and i can make a banner for the table unles someone is really wanting to do it.

ALSO NO FOOD PRODUCTS ALLOWED-VERY IMPORTANT.
no jellies, james, canned goods of any kind.

I am thinking of bringing some chicks. Would that be OK?

Also if anyone has bitter marmalade they would like to sell NOT as part of the event that would be awesome!! :D

Does that mean that eggs (for eating) would be a no-no, too?

At this point I could only come over for a little while, but I do have an EZ-Up to lend.

you can not say they are for eating what the people do with them after they leave your hands is out of your control.
and thank you we could use the easy up.
gail and jules last i heard was getting there own spot next to us.

Deb those pics are adorable! I thought Nubian Pygmy was a small breed with floppy ears lol, I just got two books on goats and am doing my research, I have a lot to learn thats for sure. We are almost finished with all of the new housing for the Chickens and Ducks and Geese! Then we will start on the goat area! I am trying soo hard to wait until we are more prepared and not just dive in like I did with all of the birds.

Okay... This is the voice of a desperate woman: Does anyone want 8 unusually colored coturnix quails? None lay eggs and several months old, so I think they might all be male, but if you want to get more quail or have some already, this could be a great way to add color to your quail flock. To my BYC friends, I will take a measely $25 for my 8 quail. PM me if interested.
