Its a bit early we are still reeling from this cold weather but we do alot of chatting and sharing info right here too.

Mine were giving me nada, until one decided to start laying and she seemed to jump start the others. I'm not getting great production, but at least I don't need to buy eggs from the store for cooking and general consumption. Of course the one who started the ball rolling is now broody. Great timing girlfriend.

Welcome to the San Diego chat thread! We do meet up. In fact, we are about due for a meet up.

I am willing to host a meetup at my place. I am out (but not too far) in Poway. I am thinking the first or second Saturday in February, either the 2nd or the 9th.

We have a grass (ok, it's really weeds that we mow) meadow area that is perfect for hanging out and talking chickens. Nothing too fancy, we will make some snacks to share and have a potluck out doors. Bring your chickens (healthy ones ONLY), kids, spouses, friendly dogs, etc. it will be a party. A CHICKEN PARTY!

That being established let's get some feed back on dates. Let me know.
