If you have to buy one - get a hovobator 1602N with a fan. I prefer the wafer thermostat to the dial one on the other styro bators

The best one for under $150 bucks is the Brinsea Octagon Eco 20. If you get them at the right time you can find them on sale for $99 bucks.

Anyone have half a dozen Marans fertile hatching eggs they would be willing to part with? Looking to add more color to my egg basket and I figure darker is eye catching. Would rather have some local than shipped. Thanks.

Very bummed I missed the meetup

next time. Excited that my chickens finally started laying!!!!! 3 eggs today. Slowly getting back to speed...
Gonna clean out the coop this week and separating some girls for selective breeding can't wait for babies!!!

Mine started laying in earnest this week. Up till Now I was getting maybe an egg or two for the past two weeks but Sunday I went up and my Wellie Pen was a sea of eggsies....

My Wellies in with the silkies had layed enough to make a clutch and I think I have one Wellie Hen Sitting.... If she is still sitting by Wednesday I will section off her corner and make a broody spot for her complete with her own food and water.

Also I had FIVE Guinea eggs. I haven't had Guinea eggs since August.... Yayyy...

I need to build some rollout nests for the Wellies.

I bought my 1588 with egg turner from KW Cages in Santee. They are preset in the factory. And have a fan and the new ones have a hygrometer and thermometer incluced in it now.... Yay. By buying from KW cages I didnt have to pay shipping.

It was pretty foolproof for this fool.

Oh and I believe it will hold fifty duck or chicken eggs.

Where do you find them for that price because the ones I found are way more and I want one lol
