yeah..not sure why they are dying. I'm hoping I don't lose anymore, McMurray was very kind and is replacing them, so I'm pleased with how they respond to these kinds of situations. I realize they can't control certain aspects of the process but they've shown me they care about their customers by making such a generous offer and that will keep me going back to them. I don't know if the chicks were just not thriving or what, but I have noticed that they are smaller than the other chicks of the same age..??...so whether it was time of year, shipping stress, health issues of the parents etc...the fact they are willing to stand behind their product and help their customers says alot to me.That's terrible. What do you think happened? Or just not thriving? I usually buy from ideal, but I wanted to try some from mcmurray. My shipment will be in may.
But I do know I will follow 3riverschicks advice and buy some nutri drench for this new shipment of babies, anything to prevent them from and me from going through that again.
