Wow. That is such an impressive list. Thank you for taking the time posting this. My broody has just hatched out 5 chicks out of fertile Trader Joe's eggs, but I guarantee, next time I have a broody, I will contact you and Gail.

I didn't know you have BBS Isbars. I got eggs from a breeder in Georgia. Had four hatched out of eight eggs - not bad for shipped eggs. Unfortunately, something got into the brooder last weekend and killed three of the four three-week-old chicks. It was a perfect trio too, a splash boy (I believe) with a blue and black girls. Are yours first or second import line? And what's your roo/hen color combination? Just wondering if chicks for all three colors are possible from eggs. Thanks.

Depends on the breed and availability but usually $3-$5 each

I don't know what import they are. I got them from Greenfire Farms about 1 year ago if that helps. Right now I have 2 blue hens and 1 blue roo.
