San Diego Chicken meetup and Chat thread

Hi Everyone, STILL LOOKING for someone to share a Ideal Order. My dates did not work for Flower.

Come on you know you want MORE chickens.

They do have similar coloring don't they? But they are definitely less fluffy.

Finally, here are pics of my new coop. The LF occupy the two left sections, the bantams have the right section all to themselves.

I'm going to look and see what paint I have in the garage, and pretty it up a bit.

I need to add some roosts, and do a couple of other things, but for the most part, its done! When my LF pullets move into the big coop in spring, my little roos will get that section. If they are fighting, then I'll put the divider in, and separate them.

BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Al, Are you going to save the day?

Around 6 or 7 at this point. May be more. I know, not much of an answer. It depends on Ideal really. I want to replace my roos but not sure if they have it to replace.

I have to call them.

Awwwww, HOW CUTE!!!!! I can't take any bunnies right now. I have enough pets at the moment. Maybe another time, if things settle down around here. I have doubts that will ever happen.....

But if I can organize my chaos, then maybe.

You did this by yourself?? That's really awesome!! How many coops do you have? I used to have large walk-in aviaries I built at my old house. I raised exotics....now I wish I had those here.

Thank You Knock Kneed!! I did do most of the work by myself. My husband helped me put on the roof, and the doors, as that was a two person job for sure. If you count this whole structure as 1 coop, then I would have 2 coops total.
