"What are you folks doing here?" "What is THAT?"

"Is that a duck ?" "Why are you here?"

"Oh Hi ENZOE ! What a lovely soft dog !" "You match Albert the boy Showgirl !"

Oh how I wish that I got a picture of the five year old boy holding Albert "the boy Showgirl" How is he adjusting to his new home Tigerlilie ? I missed him on the ride back home but I do have seven pullets and twenty seven chicks so I have plenty of company. And I brought home more wonderful plants that I brought down to sub-tropical San Diego, met nice BYC folks and visited with my cousins. Thank you one and all. Meredith I love my new plants !

I do how big are they. If they are big enough for Goat Toys I want them all...

If they are big enough I can make a goat shelter out of them too. I can pick them up once I get some fuel in my truck.

They are big!! I'm sure your goats will love climbing all over them. There are 5 available now, and probably another 4 by the end of the week. The only pic I have is on DH's cell phone, and I don't know how to download from his phone. If you have a cell phone number, I could have him send you the pic?

Address:SAI Corp, 6300 Yarrow Dr., Carlsbad, big blue building, and they are around back by the dumpster. There will be a regular supply of these available. If you come during business hours, M-F 7:00-3:00pm, ask for Dave, and he will help you load them. After hours, you are on your own!

Cool If they are the really big ones I will have to get them one or two at a time. And No I dont have a cell. But if he could give you the dimensions I will know exactly how big they are. The biggest ones I have seen that are transportable by a pick up are about four feet wide by eight feet in diameter. That would be a bit much for me to handle by myself. Four foot diameter would be perfect I dont care how wide. Like I said I will have to get some fuel in the truck I will give a call when I am ready.

Well, judging from the picture I saw of them, I would guess they are about 4' across, and stand about 3' tall. They were about half the size of the dumpster they were sitting next to. To me that is pretty big, but maybe they aren't as big as the ones that you are talking about.

Hi All, Sorry I am tardy. I wanted to thank everyone. I had a wonderful time as usual. The food was so yummy. I could not get enough meatballs and fruit salad.

Thanks so much to Cari and her BF for doing all the heavy lifting. Hopefully, the feed will last me a little while. I hope.

Tammy, I am going to salt the duck eggs. Must hurry up and do it before I start baking with them. I forgot your container but will bring it next time. Thank YOU!

Empireranch: I aprreciate it so much for you grabbing those feeders for me. Probably the second thing I did when I got home from dinner. I threw them in the dishwasher and they are being used already. I did not want to overwhelm you but I really should have bought more. I put them in the quail brooder and it works great. I will have to go to the feed store and ask if they will special order.

Rockerchic: Thanks for sharing ideas and the sprouted wheat. I just fed it to the chickens and they LOVED it. I did go to the 99cent store because I loved those baskets. Mine are way too small. I will go and buy some wheat to sprout for them. What kind do you buy? Wheat Berries or is just the Wheat okay?

Crazy Huhn: OMG: I thought I bought enough but these guys are CRAZY. I brought them out yesterday and the chickens were scattered around the yard. I was near my vegetable garden and the others came running. Literally. The ones that got the worms and wanted more kept pecking at my legs. What a scene. They told me that they need a Mealworm subscription. They think the next meet up will be way too long and the mealworms will be gone so they are thinking UPS.

Allison's 2 hens were pecking me so hard for them that the palms of my hands are red.

I hope I did not miss anyone but if I did I am sorry. Phage: the chicks are doing fine and are mad about mealworms too. crazy huhn must have gotten them started at the park because when I got home they were playing tug of war w/ the Silkies. The silkies are so much younger and kept losing to the older guys.

We will have to do it again soon.

Nancy

Sounds perfect tall enough to get under and short enough to get on top. My goats are three Nigerian Dwarfs and one Pygmy I am moving them into the horse corral when I start building the chicken coop and this will give them someplace to get away from Katee and something Katee cant inadvertently destroy. Slow but sure my ducks are lining up so that I can move home.... Yay.
