My Brinsea waS $170 WITH THE TURNER AND SHIPPING. I don't have ANY problems with humidity or temperature spikes in either direction. I filled one well during incubation and I had 40-45% humidity the whole time- never had to mess with it. During lockdown I filled both wells and that got me to about 60%, I set a large bowl of water just outside the 'bator to help and that got me to about 65%, then during the hatching I squirted water in the vent maybe 3 times a day to get it to 70-75% and that was it! Super simple and no fluctuations. I LOVE the Brinsea. Plus it's compact so if you open the lid the temp and humidity return to normal in like less than 10 minutes.

Help! I don't know what I did to my mealworms, but they don't look so good

Yesterday I poured them out of the styrofoam container they came in, into a sturdier plastic tub with lid, as they were starting to burrow out of the styrofoam. Today they are all on top and of the bran instead of under/in it, and not looking too lively . . . Any ideas????

I will let the expert answer you but yesterday I was getting worried too. It just did not smell right anymore. I looked at the carrots and they were all dried up. I cut up a potato and put them in. I hope that helps a bit. Otherwise, I am going to have let um rip and let the ladies have a free for all. I doubt they will mind.

I can only imagine....thanks for the warning. I can't watch these types of things. I see enough in rescue. Once these images are imprinted in your brain you NEVER get them out.

Please please can you tell if that price is still available. I would not mind at that price then I could use the LG for the new guy as they hatch out.

Did not look at it. Too scared to. I usually do not handle these videos well. I did see one once that I did not know when I opened the link and I had nightmares. Is this one the one with the grinders?

Brinsea has sales all the time. I'm sure if you do a search on here you could find any promotion codes for discounts if they exist.

I know the one I used expired, but I think I heard there was another one out. Just go right to the Brinsea website and order from there.

One thing I would have done different- I would have added in an extra thermometer from them to put in the egg basket. I like to have 2, but I just used the one it came with and everything went fine! Oh and go to Petco and get a reptile hygrometer to put in there too. You can look up on here how to calibrate them, to make sure it is accurate. It's super simple.

Hope this helps!
