Double S has organic. They are in Blossom valley (El Cajon). http://www.doublestackandfeed.com/ Give the site a chance to load. They even carry Mazuri, from Monkey chow to Flamingo.

http://www.doublestackandfeed.com/products/poultry-feed/ They list organic but not what brands.

I have been speaking to them at length about getting Mazuri exotic gamebird starter in and while it has a long lead time. (two weeks) they dont charge an arm and a leg for it. Probably because they are already getting Mazuri in for some exotic breeders here in town. The place is under new management.

I have extra soy-free lay crumble if you need it... just let me know.

Kahoots in Ramona does sell an organic lay pellet (Kruse, I think?), which my chickens happily scarfed up before we got MM. So does Elston's Hay & Grain, although I don't remember what brand they carry.

The people at Double S are great - always nice and helpful. We get most of our supplies there (we got our first chicks there too). We were buying our organic layer crumbles from them (sorry, I don't recall the brand), but want to get on the MM bandwagon. It is on old Hwy 80 at the Lake Jennings offramp from the 8.

Good to know! Thanks!

I called Escondido Feed and they told me they only carry Ace Hi brand?! I asked if they happened to have any bags anyway and they said nope, they don't carry it

Whoever you talked to didn't know their inventory. I was just there this weekend and saw the bags. They are not in the "feed" section, they have a small amount by their poultry supplies i.e. waterers, feeders, incubators, etc.

Thank you everyone!! Ramona is closest, thanks Dana, I'll check them out. PS. my boyfriend said to just let him know when you want him to go shoot coyotes on your property- and he can take a high-powered pellet gun if you're leery about having guns shot off on your property.

I know there is a place near you in valley senter that carrys Kings brand chicken feed, It is truely the ultimate chicken food with a whole like of Organic, and they use human grade corn etc. I have noticed a huge difference in my birds and i have had them on it just a month. they also carry horse feed, and i just love them to bits. The people who work there real down to earth and not overwhelming.. look up king brand feed on line, i think they hyave it at JC in Valley center!!

I haven't seen Mr. Wyle E. lately; now we're making our way through hawk season. Please thank your boyfriend for me!

If you go to Kahoots, I do have an extra 20% coupon if you need it!
